This collection of the records of meetings between Hitler and the Commander in Chief, Navy, was translated by the US Office of Naval Intelligence after being found in the German Naval Archives. The records were organized into separate volumes for each year of the war. Some of the issues discussed include the problems confronting the navy at the beginning of the war, a war they had not expected to start until 1944, naval strategy, submarine warfare, merchant shipping and the political result arising from military decisions.

Each volume on the reel includes a table of contents.
