Explore the holdings of the Centre for Newfoundland Studies

Recent CNS blog entries concern the 50th anniversary of the St. John's Arts and Culture Centre, Gerald Squires' The Legend of Job, the D'Alberti Papers and the retirement of Deborah Andrews, a long-time employee of CNS. The Centre for Newfoundland Studies is a special research collection of books, government documents, periodicals, newspapers, historic maps and more that is dedicated to the study of all aspects of Newfoundland and Labrador.  Many of its holdings are old and rare, others are as recent as today's government press release or this week's community newspaper. CNS is located on the 3rd floor of the QEII Library and is on Facebook and Instagram. New titles added to the collection are shown on Flickr
