Digital Archives Initiative: Where analog meets digital
The Digital Archives Initiative (DAI) is a gateway to approximately 4 million digitized cultural resources held by Memorial University and its partnering organizations. In 2025, the DAI had 1.2 million visits.
From books and maps to photographs, periodicals, newspapers, video, and audio, the DAI hosts a variety of collections that document the history and culture of Newfoundland and Labrador. All materials on the DAI are freely accessible for browsing, searching, and downloading low- to high-resolution copies.
