Apply for the Grenfell Library Research Award
The library research skill set requires students to be able to effectively locate, evaluate, and integrate existing scholarly ideas into a research project. Our Library Research Award is designed to reward the acquirement of that skill set.
The annual award will be based on a project completed by an undergraduate student in fulfillment of a course requirement. It is designed to award students who can clearly articulate what library resources they used, how they used them, why they used them, and what they learned from using them. Any type of course project will be considered (e.g. essay, Power Point presentation, visual art project) as long as library research was required to complete it.
The Library Research Award is a $500 cash prize. All applications for the 2016-2017 academic year must be submitted by March 13, 2017. The award recipient will be announced at the annual Student Achievement Award Ceremony.
