150 Acts of Reconciliation for the Community
(Posted Jan 9, 2018)
A few months ago Activehistory.ca compiled a list of 150 acts of reconciliation for the last 150 days of Canada's 150th year. Number 7 on that list is "Read an autobiography written by an Indigenous person." Aboriginal Student Services and the Ferriss Hodgett Library are encouraging the campus and the greater community to participate. Here's how:
1. Visit the Library to borrow an autobiography written by an Indigenous person. View our full collection on flickr.
2. Read the autobiography by Feb. 1, 2018.
3. Post a photo with/of the book and a comment about the book on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook using the hashtags #grenfell150acts and #reconciliation and you'll be entered to win a prize basket!
Visit the Grenfell webpage for full contest details.
