SMART Boards

Introduction

A pair of SMART Boards are mounted on the walls between the windows, on the green and blue panels.

You can use them to:

develop your skills with the boards;
develop interactive lessons; and
share / develop content with a group.

To activate the device, touch the display panel. If the computer is logged out the student password is EducSmart01

Knowing how to use an Interactive Whiteboard is a very useful skill, so put aside some time and explore their usage!

Microsoft Office 2016

Microsoft Office 2016 is installed on both SMART Board computers. You may, for example, compose or practice delivering a PowerPoint presentation using the SMART Board as a display. Alternatively, a workgroup may choose to use the SMART board to do final edits on a document composed using Word.

The station also includes a Mersive Solstice Pod. You can use this device to share content from Android and IOS devices to the big screen as well.
