What I do at Memorial Libraries
I oversee the Grenfell, Harlow and Labrador Campus libraries, as well as providing copyright guidance, support and training library-wide. I work closely with faculty, other departments, and administration to support teaching, learning, research, and student success. My goal is to ensure that the libraries are providing the best possible services, collections and spaces for our users.
At the Grenfell Campus Library I manage the budget and staffing, collection development, and the archives and special collections. Please contact me with any recommendations or purchase requests or to enquire about donating archival or other material.
More about me
I hold degrees from Simon Fraser (BFA) and Dalhousie (MLIS) Universities, and a Certificate in Canadian Copyright Law. I'm the co-recipient of the Vice-President's (Grenfell Campus) Engagement Award (2015) and the Dalhousie School of Information Management Outstanding Alumni Award (2016). I am also past president of both APLA and NLLA. I have recently completed several certificates in archival practice and management through the Archives Association of BC. My current research project is working with faculty and community partners on an oral history of Corner Brook and surrounding communities.
