What I do at Memorial Libraries
I oversee the Grenfell and Harlow campus libraries. I work closely with faculty, other departments, and administration to support teaching, learning, research, and student success. I can provide copyright support for Grenfell Campus, take purchase requests, and assist with research. My goal is to ensure that the library is providing the best possible services, collections and space for our users.
More about me
I hold degrees from Simon Fraser (BFA) and Dalhousie (MLIS) Universities, and a Certificate in Canadian Copyright Law. I'm the co-recipient of the Vice-President's (Grenfell Campus) Engagement Award (2015) and the Dalhousie School of Information Management Outstanding Alumni Award (2016). I am also past president of both APLA and NLLA. A board member of the Grenfell Campus, Memorial University Archives, I have recently completed several certificates in archival practice and management through the Archives Association of BC. My current research project is working with faculty and community partners on an oral history of Corner Brook and surrounding communities.
