What I do at Memorial Libraries
My responsibilities are related to catalogue maintenance, ensuring the cataloguing metadata and other information viewed through the Library Discovery Service, OneSearch, accurately reflects the resources owned by Memorial Libraries and points appropriately to where and how to locate them. More about me
I am the coordinator for the NACO Atlantic Canada Funnel. My research interests include library linked data, Canadian libraries readiness to transition from MARC to the BIBFRAME format, and how library linked data might aid in the decolonization of library systems. In 2021, I created a stitching piece for Unseen Labor, an online exhibition which highlights the work of cataloguing and metadata in libraries.
